A sock pattern, my first one ever

(actually published on 24.7.2019, it's been in my drafts for a while)

This is something I've been thinking about for a while now, sharing my own patterns that is. I have some ideas every now and then, but never had the courage to actually write them out and share them.
But today is the day, this is the first pattern I've ever shared on the internet, it's probably not perfect, but I did spend some time making actual charts and I hope they are clear.

I made these charts in a program called KnitBird. The pattern is divided into 4 parts and each part has the chart, instructions and explanations for the symbols and colours.

Here goes. I will call this pattern "Ekat" (the first ones) because it is my first pattern, I'm clever like that.

You will need 100g of worsted weight yarn (I used 7 Veljestä from Novita) and 3,5mm/US4 needles. Pattern is written for dpns, but if you want to use magic loop, you can, have the first 26 stitches on the first needle and the second 26 on the second.

These socks are for a european size 38-39, which is UK size 6 and US size 8. The length of the foot is 24 cm (about 9,4 inches).

Part one:

Cast on 52 stitches on 3,5mm needles, join to work in the round on dpns, 13 stitches on each needle. Work chart twice, first repeat on needles 1&2 is the front, second repeat on needles 3&4 is the back.
Knit rounds 1-37.

Part two:

Slip the last stitch to the first needle. You now have 27 stitches for the front and 25 for the back.
Start increasing for the heel on needles 3&4.
Knit rounds 1-17. After you've knit round 17 on needles 1&2, it's time to turn the heel.
Knit all stitches as they are on needle 3 (knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches). On needle 4, ssk, k1 and turn.
WS row: sl1wyif, p2, p2tog, p1 and turn (5 stitches in total).
RS row: sl1wyib, k3, ssk, k1 and turn (6 stitches in total).
WS row: sl1wyif, p4, p2tog, p1 and turn (7 stitches in total). Continue like this, with one more stitch on every row between the first slipped stitch and the decrease at the end, until you have 21 stitches in total.
Next row (RS): sl1wyib, k19, ssk and turn.
WS row: sl1wyif, p19, p2tog and turn.
RS row: sl1wyib, k10 on needle 3, M1, knit 10 on needle 4. The heel is now done and you will continue knitting in the round.
To help close the gap between the heel and the top of the foot, pick up one stitch on either side of the heel and knit it together with the next stitch when knitting the next round.

Part three:

Continue from round 1 of the chart on needles 1&2, knit all stitches on needles 3&4.
Knit rounds 1-33.

Part four:

Knit the toe decreases according to the chart, knit rounds 1-16.
When you are done, you have 9 stitches left. Cut the yarn and using a sewing needle, thread the yarn through the stitches and remove knitting needles. Pull tight and weave in ends.
