Socks again. All of them are just simple stockinette stitch because I'm really into that right now.
This yarn is so pretty, I love the colours and how smoothly they change. The main colour yarn is Wendy Roam Fusion 4 ply and the blue and red colours are Hot Socks Neon by Gründl. I used 2,5mm needles.
The heel came out as a bit too small but not every pair can be perfect.
Next is these lovely long socks. This yarn is Regia 6-ply in Digital Color and this was a 150g ball. I first divided the ball into three smaller balls and then started with the first two to see how long they would last, and then used the third ball to finish.
This was the result after using up both of the first two balls. I used 3mm needles for these.
I had only a small bit of yarn left over. I like the cold tones of these colours, they remind me of ice and winter.
Then there's these, which were made with the leftover yarn from the shawl I posted about earlier, it's Austermann Step 6 and these were also made with 3mm needles.
These are a top-down sock. This yarn is such a nice sock yarn, soft and smooth.
Another top-down pair, which was very quick to make. This is Regia 4-ply, the Arne&Carlos version with 2,75mm needles. I again tried to match the colours but it wasn't 100% perfect as you can see from the toes.
And finally, I wanted to see if I could make two pairs of socks with only one 100g ball of yarn. And I could! Though they had to be short, but that's good for summer. They are kind of a mix of socks and slippers.
I wasn't sure if I would have enough yarn or not, so at first I made all four socks without the toe part, just in case I ran out of yarn so I could make the toe with some other yarn. But I did have enough yarn so no worries.
They do stay on pretty well, I'm personally not a huge fan of such short socks because they'll just end up sliding off the heel. This yarn is Austermann Step with 2,5mm needles.
